In my opinion all the actors in Inception did a great job. They are all top notch. I have not problem with filming etc. My problem is with the script and direction.

Inception :: rogerebert.com :: Reviews: "Nolan tests us with his own dazzling maze. We have to trust him that he can lead us through, because much of the time we're lost and disoriented. Nolan must have rewritten this story time and again, finding that every change had a ripple effect down through the whole fabric.

The story can either be told in a few sentences, or not told at all. Here is a movie immune to spoilers: If you knew how it ended, that would tell you nothing unless you knew how it got there. And telling you how it got there would produce bafflement."

Inception (film)

Inception (film)

Read the summary of the plot. I can't understand it even when it is spelled out to me.
Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times Movie Critic, wrote:
For "Inception" is not only about the dream state, it often plays on screen in a dreamlike way, which means that it has the gift of being easier to follow than to explain. Specifics of the plot can be difficult to pin down, especially at first, and guessing moment to moment what will be happening next, or even if the characters are in a dream or in reality, is not always possible. But even while literal understanding can remain tantilizingly out of reach, you always intuitively understand what is going on and why. ( end quote)

Easy to follow but can not be explained? Can't nail down the plot? Literal understanding not easy but intuitive understanding is? Mr. Turan seems to be paraphrasing a line in the movie, " Whose dream are we in?" We are all cool, we get it but we can't understand it!

Wake me up please!

How many car crashes are there in Inception? How many bullets were fired? How many people were hurt? How many building crumbled? How many negative emotions were expressed? How many threats were made? Were there any good guys in this movie? How many pro social actions were taken? Was there any part of this movie that was realistic? Tell me a take home science lesson from this movie. Wake me up please!

Inception (film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "Marketing
In the spring of 2010 a viral marketing campaign was started for the film. On June 2, 2010 a manual was sent out to various companies. The manual was filled with bizarre images and text all relating to Inception. As the month went on, more and more viral marketing began to surface, including posters, ads and strange websites all related to the film.[50][51] On June 7, 2010 a behind the scenes featurette on the film was released in HD on Yahoo! Movies.[52] Warner Bros. has spent $100 million marketing the film.[53]"
